Hi i have a fritzbox running my broad band connection and near by ( it has to be for the broadband connection) a wifi router for arlo wireless cameras... we often have great difficulty logging in and out of the arlo "router"  - on a hunch i got an app to monitor wireless signal - wondering if they were both operating on the same channels.. it seemed they were...

i went into fritzbox settings and set the channels else where on the range  and for a little while it seems to help.. but then i find the arlo, seems to have followed the fritz and is covering the same channels again with approx the same signal strength... or am i barking up the wrong tree and this shouldn't affect it at all?

I haven't used them myself but it appears this behaviour is by 'design' https://community.netgear.com/t5/Arlo/Is-it-possible-to-change-the-wifi-channel/td-p/1537
