I've been having problems transferring data ever since I bought my Bluesoleil Class 2 USB Dongle. I have a Nokia 6630 Smartphone.
First of all, I have XP SP2. The famous Bluetooth icon on the taskbar, or in the Control Panel, never actually appeared on my system. I have tried Tweak UI and, even though I turn it on again and again, the shortcut never appears. I also tried the command in the 'Run'(bthprops.cpl), but it was a flash in the pan, absolutely nothing happened. I didn't care about that first. The device cannot be recognised by Windows without the drivers(v 2.3).
I install the drivers, everything works fluently. I can transfer data from my phone very fast, without any quirks. But, there is a problem when I transfer data to my phone with the drivers(impossible otherwise). While the data does get sent and playback is full, the data does not get saved into a category, but instead as a form of MMS.
Example: If I send some music onto my phone, it will not get organised into the music subfolder, but it will instead be saved as a message in the inbox!
I downloaded Nokia PC Suite, the one that works with my phone, latest version, and then installed it and restarted the system. In the 'Connect a phone' window, my phone(already paired), gets connected with PC suite, but only for a matter of seconds. I tried loads of times, and its still doesn't work.
I also have read the Bluesoleil FAQ and have them execute at startup at the same time, but the drivers still dont get synchronised. Any other ideas?
