Do any of you has experienced like me,

After open box from brand new and testing is fine, upgrade to newest firmware all functions work well and all the corner at my house can get Wifi signal, lan connect to PC is good.

But yesterday I try to use a Wifi extender to enhance the wifi signal upstairs success at the beginning but 20mins it crash, even in the router's admin page said "router can not find" after reboot the wifi signal is weak, I can only pick up the signal within 1 meter to the router and next to the router I can only get 2 column signal from my Iphone.

And then I tried to reset and start over it still doesn't work on the wifi signal but others is fine. And I tried manually upgrade the firmware again still no help(I also tried downgrade the firmware but the router won't let me).

After that I tried to reset the wireless setting channel for 2.4ghz, Pri 5hgz and Sec 5ghz as ssid dlink4 at 11, dlink5 at 36 and dlink5b at 161, however after save setting and repower the router it show only dlink5(which is the PRI 5GHZ wifi signal) no the other two at all, on my iphone's with very bad strength same as before.

After 2meter's distance the signal pretty much is gone.

Any fellow has the same problem as me before?

Do a factory reset, bound to be a reset button on the back hold down till things start to happen with LEDs (10-30seconds depending how DLINK does it)

This should then reset both 2.4 and 5Ghz to Dlink  SSID defaults
Now start again.

Upgrading Firmware doesn't reset the Router (unless you tell it to) so any issues remain
If you are getting WIFI all through house do you need an extender ?

What's my question as well.

For about the 1000th time I'll post my usual blurb on WiFi extenders - if you can't explain in a sentence why they're so bad and what they will break then you shouldn't be using one.

Thanks upstairs' reply, the reason I want to use the wifi extender because at some corners I found out the download speed reduce half compare to the center of the house, since I changed the new router the download speed can up to 300mb, way fast then the Huawei one.

I've done factory reset in my previous step but doesn't work. Will it be the hardware problem? What I done base on software level shouldn't be like that.

SO it very confuse me.

You do realise that an extender (by nature) will typically half your WiFI throughput anyway? And if it's placed in a poor location it'll impact the performance of every WiFi device whether connected to the primary AP or the extender.

From what you've posted above you don't actually need an extender.
