I have an iPAQ 1940 and I have paired it with my desk top (XP SP2).

I have had it working in the past (with SP2) but have had to recently
re-pair the devices.

Now when I try and discover services on my destop the iPAQ only finds one
service called "P".

I have ensured that discovery is on on the desktop. The desktop can find DUN
and SPP services on teh PPC just fine.

Any ideas?

TIA

I've seen this happen before, but couldn't find a clue on MS KB... Will try to dig more.

I was also wondering if there is any way of re-installing the bluetooth stack that is part of SP2?

That may solve the problem?

Well I uninstalled and then re-instaled my bluetooth hardware. Ican now create an Activesync connection from my PPC which is good.

However, if I just search for the services that my desktop offers from my PPC then I still only get the "P" service.

Strange but at least I'm up and running.

Thanks for your reply.
