Hey!

I have a WRP400 router and it's working almost perfect. But I have a slight problem...

The phone works, the internett works when connected with a cable, and the wireless network is intact
but only on Windows XP. We have 2 PC's with vista, and when connecting to the network it only have local connection, with no internet. When checking with my laptop (which has XP) it was working just fine.

The only info I get is that "IPv4" is: only local network and sometimes "limited connection" and "IPv6" has limited or noe connection at all.

I think this must be a problem for alot of people, and hoping someone can give me an answer. (I'm not english, sorry if the language is bad).

I have had no issues with Vista connecting to WRP400 wireless. Sometimes Vista shows "local only" when there is in fact Internet connectivity.
Check that Vista is receiving it's IP dynamically. Make sure Vista has SP1 installed. Delete the access point from Vista and reconnect under an Admin login. Make sure you click the correct settings when the pop-up comes up for the type of network you are connecting to.

I have had the same issue for quite some time.  However I have an older USR wireless modem/router.  I have given up mucking around iwth it and now just hardwire my way in.  I have updated WLAN drivers, hotfixes etc and still the connection is intermittant.  XP is sweet as.  I am wondiering if it is hardware incompatibilities between laptop and worielss router or vista wirelss is just crap.  I seem to remember that if you hard code the IP address it worked but then that caused other issues.

If you ever find a solution let me know

BTW I have a HP DV9612TX laptop with the Intel 4965AGN card.
