Hello All,

First, I pretty much know nothing about bluetooth and little about computers. All I know is that I want this bluetooth mouse to work with my laptop...

I have a toshiba satellite with xp that i bought 2yrs ago. I though it had bluetooth(because there is Bluetooth software on my computer) but i guess it doesnt have the Bluetooth hardware that i need.

How difficult is it to add whatever bluetooth hardware to my laptop if possible. What parts/products will I need. Any help/direction is very much appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, probably your laptop doesn't have the hardware. It should be a bit tricky to find the original Bluetooth module but not impossible. Or could just get a Bluetooth USB adapter, uninstall the Toshiba software, install the software that comes with the adpater, plug it and off you go...

Thanks for the reply. That clears things up. Originally i didnt want to do the whole usb thing because i hate how they stick out the side of my laptop but i just found these really small bluetooth usb adapters that barely stick out. Thanks again.

If its worth it, would you or anyone like to comment on finding and installing an internal bluetooth module if they have done it because im curious

thanks!
