I have a Acer Aspire 5920 Notebook and I would like to pair it up with my LG Lotus cell phone.  I think I have Bluetooth on the notebook because after Windows Vista loads, I get a Acer balloon pop up saying: 'Welcome to Acer VCM: Turn on the notebook Bluetooth and Acer Bluetooth VoIP phone, then launch the Acer VCM Bluetooth Headset Connection Center to configure.'
I am not so interested in the VoIP but mainly pairing with my cell phone.
I have looked everywhere for it but maybe I am just too lame to figure it out.  If there is someone who could help me, I would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The Acer VCM is just a program to manage some telephony applications through a Bluetooth headset. It doesn't mean you have Bluetooth hardware installed on your laptop...

Open Device Manager and look for Bluetooth Enumerator. If it's not there' then the laptop doesn't have Bluetooth.

I have an aspire 5920G It comes with bluetooth. The column of buttons on the left hand side of the key board has a bluetooth button. Hit this and the bluetooth should be enabled. A bluetooth symbol should come up in the bottom RHS of the screen  Make sure your phone is visible and you should be able to see it in explorer.
