I need help with making a mini home network.
This is the list of software that I have:
-Compaq Presario 2003 Desktop (Admin) Win XP
-Toshiba Satellite 2006 Notebook (Client) Win XP
-X2 24 Pin Ethernet Cables
-Netgear Wi-Fi Router (Main Hub)
-Dlink Broadband Router (Uplink)

My Current Diagram:                                                  __________
                                                                               |             |
                                                                               |  Client   |
                                                                               |_________|

                          ______________
                          |                  |       ____________
_____________       |  Wi-Fi         |      |                |
                    |     |____________|      |    Uplink    |
 Compaq       |_________|    |________|___________|
 Presario       |
_____________|           /\/\/\/\/\
                               The Wi-Fi
                               is connected
                               to the uplink
                               but I can't seem
                               to connect on Admin.
The Wi-Fi Has 4 Ethernet Ports but no Uplink port. How could I Have the Uplink connected to the Wi-Fi and have internet access
on both computers?

Step1: Establish if the problem is with the wifi link to the client or with the connection of the uplink. To do this temporarily connect the client to the wifi hub with a network cable. Step2: If the client can now see the rest of the network, including the uppink & internet, you need to focus your attention on the Wifi setup.
Good luck

It's all based on your post count - I think you need to have more than 1,000 posts to get it.

you can connect to your wireless router? and can see shared folders on the client pc?

Log in to your router and set the address from your ISP and try again.
