Hi all

Im a total noob when it comes to this sort of thing so please forgive me

basically im looking at getting a MESH WIFI system for my house as the wifi in certain areas suck. We have fiber.

A friend has suggested this TP-Link Deco X20.

My question can one of these devices connect directly into my ONT or does it connect to a modern first? I cant seem to find a correct answer.

Yes you can - depending on the ISP you will need to configure either DHCP or PPPoE and potentially set a VLAN. Do you have a phone service at all or is it a naked connection?

For best performance, I’d recommend having a wired backhaul between the units.
