Hi.

This may seem like a simple question, but when I want to send E-Mail via Bluetooth, I ma always told that the connection settings are not correct. Yes when I resync, it send the mail for me OK. Is this correct when using Bluetooth and activesync with SP2, as the only way I have managed to link to the internet, is to link Via activesync, and browse that way.

Anyone Any Ideas???

This sounds correct. You should have a valid Internet access when connected through ActiveSync - it's called Internet Pass Thru. However, Bluetooth alone plus SP@ will not give a LAN access connection because this is not supported by SP2.

Thanks alot.

Makes me feel better knowing thats what its supoosed to do. Will microsoft be fetching out any updates do you know to the MS stack to allow it to work like the old WIDCOMM stacks and allow normal(ish) LAN access??

Also I have posted on other groups, but do you know what a File Push Protocol is?? When I try and send a file via the send file option from the bluetooth icon in the taskpane, I can select the file OK to send to the PDA, but I get told it has failed, a file push protocol is needed. What is this and how can I get it??? A friend of mine has a 2200 (mine is a 1945), and it works OK with his.

The Widcomm software on your Pocket PC should support file transfer ok.You might have to check its current configuration to make sure the File Transfer option is set to Allow. This is on Bluetooth Settings on your h1945.
