I have a PC with W2K3 Enterprise Edition SP1 installed.
I have the BT-210 USB adapter
I have a Palm Tungsten T3
I have the BlueSoleil latest drivers

Here is my problem:

Can't get the LAN ACCESS to work, don't have access to the Internet.

Hot Sync DOES work.

Emailed BlueSoleil. Got a new Interoperability doc for PDA. That is what fixed the Hot Sync. Did not fix the Internet and LAN ACCESS problem..

They tell me that Version 1.6 drivers will be out this month.

I tried to use the WIDCOMM drivers that everyone on these boards use and incurred the same problem that they have. The license. DAT or it won't recognize the BT dongle.

I have tried using the fixes out there, including the one's from this board. Same Problems.

Is there any hope for me???

You should if possible returnt the adapter and buy one that comes with Widcomm 1.4 and up. These version is the only Widcomm version that supports Windows Server 2003.

Also, a big no-no is mixing drivers.

The problem is, I bought this off of EBAY.

Next question,,,

What USB dongle works with my configuration with the WidComm Drivers???

TDK is the best option. And make sure you remove all current Bluetooth software and reboot before installing the new drivers and hardware. With two drivers already in your system this is going to be a pain.

I was able to find information in the BlueSoleil software from a document on how to add a new type of USB dongle to their software.

I was not able to find the same document in the Widcom software.

Maybe I could move the information from BlueSoleil BTUSB.inf file into the Widcom BTWUSB.inf file to see if that works.

Tried that. Still won't see my dongle. When I try to install my dongle drivers manually using the Widcom BTWUSB.inf file. It won't. Looks like there is more information that it needs.

Any help???
