Hi

My WAG54GP2 V2 was working fine up until about a week ago when it started running soft reboots every 2 minutes. Now It won't even power on. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also if anyone knows how to get ahold of linksys suppport that would be a great help to. Thanks

I have had numerous problems with the WAG54GP V2.
First problems I noticed was poor voice line quality especially during downloads or after downloading large amounts. Recently when I've been transferring data over the internet or even over the local network it pretty much shuts down the voice ports. If I'm downloading data via multiple computers on my network then often it will do a soft reboot.

I finally complained to xnet even though I knew it was a modem problem and they informed me that there is known faults with this model with the voice/data filtering, and the model has now been superceded by the WAG310G. I contacted several different departments of cisco/linksys and pretty much got the run around with different phone numbers to call. I then tried the online live support and after an hour of chat dialog I now have an RMA form from linksys to give to the product supplier... the only problem now is that I haven't been able to find a WAG310G in stock anywhere in NZ atm, so have to wait approx a month before the boat comes in with these and then I can swap mine out.

Can't do anything in the meantime as it would mean I will be without a phone if I use any other modem on the xnet vfxnet service.

Hope this helps, but i suspect if yours has stopped working completely then your probably already going down the warranty avenue.
