Is it possible to transfer my contacts list from a PDA2k to my Lexus lx470 via bluetooth? The Lexus has bluetooth and built in with the possibility of using Steering wheel controls to answer and initiate calls. The pairing takes place but one cannot transfer the contacts database to the vehicle with Windows Mobile 2003 devices at least it is so in my experience. Is there a way to do this with this operating system? Imate gives the old song and dance that their phone is not compatable with certain car kits but I have found it works with no OEM carkits. I would love to be proven wrong. I also have a Sony Ericsson 910a which transfers everything perfectly but really prefer the PDA2k if it is capable of doing this.

I've just contacted i-mate and asked specifically if the PDA2k supports Handsfree or not. I don't think it does, but let's see the official word on this.

Go to the profile page and adjust the time settings... Your user record is probably still set to the DST.

Got a reply from the i-mate support, and the PDA2k supports both the Handsfree and Headset profiles. I don't have a Lexus around (well, actually yes, but not with Bluetooth) to test and confirm.

What I've seen before is that some car kits have both Handsfree and Headset profiles. You have a different sequence of buttons to push to enable one or other service. Could this be the case?
