Hi!
I dont know why the Bluetooth Manager of my iPAQ h2215 doesn´t discover any services of the Tungsten T.
This is the error message that appears when I want to conect both:
"The requested service is not running on this device. Please make sure the service is enabled on the device or select another to continue"
And Im sure that the bluetooth is on on the Tungsten...
Please I´m desesperated if anyone hepls me maybe I should give you a reward or something...I dont know like $$ apps for the PPC
I would thank any help. Thank you!!

Im trying to exchange files
But if you know how I can, for example, host a personal network or another service with the TT I´ll be glad to know how to.

I think you're out of lucky them. Neither the T|T or H2215 will have the router mechanisms to host a network.

As for transferring files, the T|T will only have the Serial and LAN Access clients and Object Exchange profiles.

Ok thnk you, I know that. The real problem is How I conect both to exchange files? Because the BT Manager does not find "any usable services" on the TT

Well, File Exchange is not one of the services - so you can't...

Hi,

I am new here but upon seeing this I thought I would give a heads-up that my Ipaq 2210 (same as 2215) has PAN-Server Profile and I am able to connect to it via my PC. So in theory it should be possibly to do this via the TT. You can enable the BT PAN-Server on the IPAQ by going to "Bluetooth Settings", scroll way to the right to "PAN-Server" and activate that service. You will probably have to assign IP adresses on both devices manually and of course those should be in the same subnet.

I don't know wether this will help though, as you would need some kind of software that could transfer files over IP and work on both the Palm and the Ipaq.

Apologies for any typos, etc. but I am not a native speaker.

Greetings, Matthes

Hi,

I only have ICQ and I believe I can dig up yahoo-messenger somewhere. BTW I can only help you on the PPC side, since I have never used a TT before.

Greetings, Matthes
