Hi

I have a Sandisk 256Mb WIFI card with Ipaq1945, running PPC2003. Whilst I can browse hotspots, I never seem to be able to connect to them, the light on the wireless card always seems to be blinking, and in the connection settings, all I see is associating. Occ I get a strength status. I intended to use this with my own network at home, but have not yet got a Wiresless router, but I thought I would be able to browse wireless hotspots. Are there any good guides out there, or can anyone give me any advise.

Kind Rgrds

Chris

Are you sure these hotspots your card is detecting are actually open and accessible? Some may be protected with WEP keys, and some may have MAC address filtering, only accepting connections from devices in their list.

Thanks

Not sure. I think I will wait till I get my wireless router, and see if it works with that first.

Take it from there.

Cheers anyway

Chris
