Hello. I have a 640Plantronics headset and bluetooth something dongle using latest Widcomm software 5.xx.

I have paired my 640 with the PC but I can`t use it. meaning that when I open my bluettoth places select Connect the headset it send some tones to the headset and thats all. i can`t send any audio from PC. and i can`t use it in yahoo messenger or other programs.
Other times, if the the 640 is turned off and i turn in on it shows in BT Places connected but in does not make any sound and can`t use it for application.
so, do i need to do anything else or how can I use it with YMsg??

Welcome to Geekzone... The tones you can hear are the "Incoming call" announcement. When a new call comes in the headset will beep - you then press the answer button and the call is connected.

The headset treats the connection from your computer as a normal incoming call - just press the answer button...
