I have the Samsung Digital Home Theater System HT-WP38. The rear speakers are supposedly Bluetooth. How can I stream audio to them from my PC?



The instruction manual is useless. I have a Belkin wireless Ture MIMO router, though. I think it recognizes UpnP devices, but I am not sure... I'll get router model # if neccesary (its 10:49 PM and I'm beat right now). Are the speakers even UpnP???



Ideas?

Welcome to Geekzone... Is Bluetooth (and the Bluetooth logo) in the product or manual? I can't find any Bluetooth related resource listing this. If they are Bluetooth devices you should need a Bluetooth adapter on your PC with the appropriate profile.

If it's Bluetooth then I imagine it's using A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), but only looking at the manual or full specifications one can be sure.

The wireless router you mention is using Wi-Fi and will not work with Bluetooth - they are different, incompatible, technologies.

Is Your Router A Bluetooth Compatible ???

If So Then You Shouldnt Have Any Troubles Except For Setting Them Up

On The Altenative You Can Always Purchase An Audio Adapter Cable Witch Is Simply 3.5mm stereo cable - Rcax2 eg left/right and then use the digital surround setting on your home Theater system to create a digital Surround System Without The Fuss Of Wireless Material

I don't think his router is Bluetooth compatible. The True MIMO routers with Wireless 802.11a/b/g and n - but not Bluetooth.
