For my Dynalink WLB1402, the old drivers (from an old 802.11 Wireless Lan CD) work fine for my Win7 32bit, even though it should only support up to XP.
I can't even find WLB1402 on the dynalink site anymore, but it seems it shares drivers with QWLL100.
I cant get it to install on Win7 64bit however.
I tried different variations of the drivers, from my CD to the 98 version of WLB1402/QWLL100, xp version of WLB1402/QWLL100, the most recent version of QWLL100 on dynalink.co.nz - none of them work.
I even tried connecting to the internet with a cable, and troubleshooted the device from "Devices and Printers", but Windows couldn't find anything.
I've come to the conclusion that this wireless adaptor most likely is not supported on Win7 64bit.
I'll give Telecom a call tomorrow though and see what they can do.. although I doubt they can help.
What alternative options do I have now for a wlan adaptor?
P.S. I'm using the Telecom Thomson TG585 (which drops connections multiple times at least once every 2 days).
