hi,
does anyone know where i could get one of these in auckland. i tried everywhere over the weekend but no luck finding one.

im after the smallest and most portable ethernet hub possible. requirements are ethernet cable into the computer, plus two other port connections. USB-powered would be most ideal.

here is the buffalo one which would be perfect if i could find one:

What a cool device!

Skipping the USB requirement, dick smith has some nice hand sized switches

This trademe listing is potentially for the same model, although with no photo i cant confirm

I scored one off trademe for under $10 a year ago and it has been brilliant. I have an ethernet cable coming into my room and this 'splits' it out to the laptop, desktop and apple airport express.

Edit:
Heres another trademe listing for $30

thanks for that info.
im actually wanting to connect a laptop to two digital cd players. so thats why im after a really small hub, for the portability factor. the buffalo happens to have the perfect number of ports i need for this configuration.

Edit - the portable laptop setup im hoping to have is also why a usb-powered hub would be ideal. (1 less power plugs etc). are there any usb-powered hubs available on the NZ market? thanks
