If possible, I would like to be able to use my USB Network Adapter without the Belkin Wireless Network Utility. If you have done this yourself, could you please run me though how you did it?

TIA,
zach

You will probably want to create a Restore Point now, before proceeding. But I am pretty sure, if you right-click the adapter in Networks, there's an option to the words of "Use Windows to manage wireless networks" or something similar.

What do you mean "right-click the adapter in networks"?
When I don't have the software installed and I plug in the USB Network Adapter, I get the "found new hardware" notification and I click it to install, but when I get it to install the drivers from the cd I get an error
saying that I need to put the cd in again.

I think I'll just stick with having it running for now as it's causing too much trouble...
