Put in the APN section www.vodafone.net.nz for GPRS settings

I would be interested on your feed back on the GPRS experience ... was thinking of getting one of those $50.00 a month plan for 1gb ... was it easy to setup ... or did it even require setting up? ... speed okay? ... i would really only use it for emails ... ooo and the odd google map :)

I find the GPRS on iPhone rather slow but definitely usable, especially for basic emailing.

Now that Gmail is IMAP it makes the iPhone a far better email tool also for those who use Gmail.

madshark, if I were you I'd add the APN for the optimised servers at Vodafone - that way you use roughly half as much data as you normally would (it optimises images etc. so they don't look as flash but you only download half the data of the image). I forget what the APN is but if you go to the Vodafone forum here, there's a sticky near the top with a list of APNs.
