I am changing jobs. My current phone is supplied my bu current employer as is my laptop - I do not have a home computer or a "personal" phone. My question is how does one back up my iPhone (this will then be handed back to my current employer along with my laptop) and then reinstall all my apps etc with my new employer on the iPhone they are getting me. I have about 60-something Gig on the phone (mainly photos, music etc) and would prefer not to use iCloud due to my perceived security of iCloud - rightly or wrongly - if the consensus is that it is good these days then that is worth considering (does it have a minimum term of signing up as I would probably on use it for this transfer), alternatively I have a bout a million external HDD's.

All advice or links to useful tutorials welcomed, seems when you google it the search is so broad I'll have left my job before I find the answer...cheers
