I've just installed the final version of 3.0 on my 2G iPhone and I'm not getting the MMS options. Where are you finding that control panel?

It's close enough. And not hard to re-flash in a couple of weeks. Bit of a bugger about MMS. I assume it'll still let 3G users on GPRS send and receive ok though?

It's actually 19th june in USA - see the other thread. Later in July for us.

Most other providers the iPhone works (XT,VFNZ) will support MMS on the day - my iPhone 3G running 3.0GM was sending PXT fine last night ;)

I just got tethering and MMS working on vodafone nz, here are the steps

1) Download http://www.unlockit.co.nz/MOBILECONFIG/test1.mobileconfig

2) Open in a text editor and change <string>WAP.CINGULAR</string> to  <string>www.iphone-vodafone.net.nz</string>

3) Email yourself the file, open the email on you phone, click on the attatchement and install it.

4) Go to Settings > General > Network > Celluar Data and edit the properties to be the same as the first post in this thread.

5) Good to go!

I have played around with it tethered to my desktop running w7 and everything installed and just worked with 0 setup

Hi filterer ..

Can you try the other test files as well and let me know how they go. (if you have time)

the -2 type-mask "works" but its not really the correct way of doing it..

After I am sure they work.. the main iphone part of the site will have the option as well and I can try and get MMS settings in via the mobileconfig as well

Oh and the other interesting thing, is that it exposes settings for visual voicemail

http://www.unlockit.co.nz/MOBILECONFIG/test1.mobileconfig doesn't seem to work for me, or the bluetooth in my device is faulty - it won't setup a network with my macbook..

I believe there are some issues with some of the older macs and bluetooth.

Does it work with enable the menu item and or does it work with usb?
