This is a short tale of ignorance rather than stupidity.
I'd read some good reports of Sygic Mobile Maps, so decided to install the application on my mobile. I paid for and downloaded the application from the iTunes store. After trying unsuccessfully to install it, the truth of the matter dawned on me. The application from the iTunes store can only be installed on iPhones. (I'm not sure if the iTunes Store was 100% clear about this.)
Now I've got an apparently worthless ipa file which cost me $75. Obviously it's never been opened or activated.
Is this file of any use to anyone? Can it be offered for sale e.g. on TradeMe? Or should it just be put in the recycle bin and put down to experience?
I've since downloaded the Windows version of the application from the Sygic Website which I've installed on my HTC Touch Diamond 2. It works perfectly and the good reports about this software appear to be well founded.
