Hi Nick,

Our NZOpenGPS maps are the only free NZ routable maps that I am aware of, apart from OpenStreetMap. We only have access to map compilers for Garmin and Android devices, so these are the only ones our maps work on. It's an almost identical story for OSM.

This question gets asked on our forums occasionally and as far as I am aware nobody has ever successfully installed our maps on a proprietary car nav.

I suggest you buy a cheap Garmin navigator and mount that in front of the inbuilt nav (unless the screen is used for other things). You then have the choice of using Garmin's maps with lots of features or ours, which are more up-to-date.

Kind regards,

Peter.

Do you know what OS it's running? Not a flavour of Linux by any chance?
