I tried joining Flip online but at the end of the process when creating an account for me, it said there is a problem and I need to call the 0800 number.

The problem is that I am overseas at the moment, so I cannot call a 0800 number in NZ, and I need to complete my order so that I can have a phone line and broadband when I get home.

How can we solve this?
I logged a support ticket on the site which is #3642.

Sorry about this. Will look into it for you.

Have a few questions

Do you know what time this happened (NZ time if possible)?

And what browser you were using?

What form of payment did you choose?

thanks

It happened at the time I posted on the forum, and it was a credit card payment.

I had a reply to my ticket saying I should try again,
again, which I did 3 times anyway, or that I can send screenshots over email?

It was using the latest version of Firefox on Windows 7.

I just tried again using my iPhone and it worked.

If my connection could be setup by the 25 January I would appreciate it, not sure if you can do something there Scott - seeing as almost a day has been wasted trying to sign up.

Thanks

Message me your account details and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks, I received an email saying it would be installed on the 24th, I'll PM you my account details anyway - just in case :)

Also, when I log into my Flip account, I just see a screen showing my connection date and my contact details - no matter what page I click on it just shows that information.

I assume that will change once I've been connected, so I can select a data pack?

PM'd you back.

Yes that's as per design, your billing hasn't started yet so we just show your connection status.

Once connected you'll be able to purchase our new data packs.

I have been impressed so far with the quick responses from Flip Support, as well as the general speed of the internet. My experience is much better than my previous ISP (Orcon) so far. Keep it up!
