Hey guys,

Don't know if this is the right place to ask this but I will ask anyway =P
I got my iphone 4 stolen about a month ago. I have a 2degrees number and last week someone changed the number. I'm still hoping to catch the theif so I was wondering,

Is it possible to change a 2degrees number without a password?

I rang up 2degrees and they said you either had to do it online or ring them up. I don't know why the theif would go to the trouble of changing the number when they could just buy a new sim card. On the call history it looks like this person made two calls one to 2919 and one to 667667.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Any help would greatly appreciated!

Did you call 2Dregrees and bar the mobile number when the iPhone was stolen?

Do you not have any tracking apps installed to assist in situations like this?

Sorry to hear about your stolen phone.

If you lose your phone you should suspend the account immediately in Your 2degrees or call us on 0800 022022 or 200 from a 2degrees phone and we can do it for you. We can also block the phone from being used on our network.

If you registered your number in Your 2degrees they would need to know your unique password or hint question to get into your account and change your number, and only if the account hadn't already been suspended.

Please PM me your number, name, address and DOB so I can take a look what happened with the account.

Might it not be better to leave the phone active if you're able to monitor the calls/texts they are making?

I didn't suspend the account just in case the thief was stupid enough to keep using my sim card. Which they are still doing I'm guessing?
They changed the number, which I have but haven't tried to ring it.

I had two tracking aps installed, gadgettrak and lost my iphone but neither have been able to locate it so far. It hasn't come up on icloud. It was out of battery after I lost it.

I have given the number to the police. Anything else I could do? I feel like I have exhausted all possiblities!
