Well I have no way to contact them as their call centre is closed.

I am back to using my 56k modem.
Actually it isnt that much slower than slingshot has been recently.
Im in Mt Roskill just off sandringham road and have had no internet for last 2 hours.  Broadbands down.

coming back to NZ sux - I was blessed in japan with 100mb fibre for $50 a month.  Tolls were over a $1 a minute to NZ though (everyone uses skype).

phoned slingshot up last week they said my slowness was due to my noisey connection.  Strange it just began to go slow 2 weeks ago around the same time everyone elses did.  Im gona hound them for a refund come tomarrow.

By the way I am running DSL lite modulation - havnt had it drop out on me once since i ran this a couple of months ago.  Why would this be?

It wasn't just Slingshot.

There was apparently some work done on the Telecom network last night, we'll asking them questions this morning as will Slingshot no doubt.
