I see I am not the only one with poor support from SNAP.
I have a new phone number at work, I am unable to connect to it from home through SNAP.
13 days ago I rang them.  It took 61 minutes to get through to someone to talk to (and yes you do get sick of Lorde over and over again).
They said it was not a problem with SNAP.
I said that my mobile phone can ring it, other callers around Christchurch can ring it, you can't tell me it is something wrong at my work end.
The person said they would try it, and came back to me saying I was correct it is an issue with SNAP.
They said the would get back to me.  13 days later, my family still can not phone me at work, and no word from SNAP.  Not even to say they are still looking into it.
Very poor.
And tonight the internet has been very very slow.  It has only just got to a reasonable speed now at 10pm.

i was downloading earlier, (about 8.30pm) getting an easy 7MB/s to my dedicated server in NL over a single thread.

what that says to me, is your speed issue is likely not snaps fault at all.

as for your phone number, could be a porting issue or something, im sure it will be resolved soon.

I must ask though, since you havent actually given a question.. Is there anything we can help you with or is this a soapbox thread that has no goal?

I am sure Snap have a complaints process that would yield good results, it has for me in the past...

I'm aware Snap seem to have some issues with helpdesk staffing at the moment, but never had a problem with performance from them.. the VDSL connection where I'm staying currently runs mint (and was doing so last night too)
