I just noticed in the T&Cs of the $10 for unlimited promotion, that it ends on sunday. I'm wondering if it is likely to be extended, or if I should ensure that I sign up before sunday?
I wouldn't bother as there are better deals around, and there was a hint from Snap when the $10 unlimited promotion was launched that pricing may come down on the unlimited option without the term contract. It may simply be that they were waiting to see what the competition does, but the competition I am aware of in the 200/20 and 200/200 market are all significantly cheaper, at $40 to $50 per month less for the 200/200 option without a minimum term contract.

Lol I saw this promotion about 2 weeks ago and was interested, didn't realise it was ending so soon. Sort of wanted the Fritzbox 7490 so the 24 month contract wasn't quite such a big deal. Although I was still somewhat uncomfortable with having a 24 month contract no matter how good Snap usually is. Particularly since they don't even seem to prorate the ETF. No biggie as I wouldn't have signed up that soon anyway (planning to try VDSL with BigPipe first before I consider whether I want it long term).
I have doubts they'd match the promotion prices without contracts so quickly. While, there's never any guarantee things won't get better, offering a promotional price (widely advertised including to current customers) but requiring a 24 month contract, then offering the exact same price 1-2 months later without a contract, seems a good way to piss off anyone who took up that deal. Even if they're generally happy with Snap and don't care that much about the 24 month contract.
Since there's no UFB in my area (I'm sort of in a UFB hole) until June 2016 or earlier, I haven't looked in to that pricing much (other than to know I could get something quite a lot better for the same price as VDSL2). But to give an example of VDSL2, I can imagine them dropping the price to $109 (with phone or Snap Phone) or $99 (naked without any phone) for unlimited. But probably not to the $105/$95 it was for the unlimited with 24 month contract. Maybe 6 months from now.
