I recently switched over to MyRepublic as of today from WXC, I received the new router and have installed it. The internet is up and running but the phone line is not.

Our old router had a phone line port which plugged direct into the router but this new one does not.

I rang MyRepublic earlier this evening and was told I have to connect the phone cable direct to the HONS which is 4 meteres away on the other side of the garage, (in the last picture the phone line is on the far left where is says line in, phone is number 1). Other than getting an extension lead of some sorts I was wondering if any of the attached photos below would help anyone decide what would be the best solution.

There is communication hub on the wall in the garage which has all the wires going direct to each room and all you have to do is connect corrosponding cables to what room you are in. The HONS is on the other side of the garage where the fibre line comes in from the street.

Would like to sort asap as we need a working  phone line.

If you require any more information feel free to ask.

Cheers

You'll need a run a cable from the ONT (which I assume if what you mean is 4m away) voice port to your phone distribution panel.

What is the yellow cable? Is this the WAN in from the ONT? If so you could split this two ways with a voice/data splitter but will be limited to 100Mbps.

The yellow cable connects to the router from the ONT I assume, but is re routed through the wall as the ONT and communication hub are separated, basically on opposite walls.

In which case you'll need to follow one of the 2 steps mentioned in my post above.
