Im thinking about Myrepublic fibre (pure plan) i live in christchurch.I have already one internet in my house which is rly slow ( copperline) can i have fibre internet (naked) without canceling internet which is already in my house?
Assuming the copper isnt removed as part of the fibre installation, Absolutely you can have both services.
Better question would be Short of redundancy why would you like to keep the slower connection rather than upgrade the speed without duplicating on the cost?

Thanks for answer Kiwis , i checked jack point in house and i saw 2 one is connected with current internet (phone line) from another no cable coming maybe they both are working who knows.

Question: Do you have a phone plugged in, and Do you make and receive calls using that phone? I guessing the landlord controls that phone number and is under the landlords account, which would mean you would not be able to port the number over to MyRepublic.
As you suggest, You can get fibre with Myrepublic, you can just ask them not to provision a number / landline on their network and just use the copper line for a phone.

You can plug in a phone or modem into the other jack point if see if you have dial tone or if the modem connects.
So today i sign up for MyRepublic pure plan ( naked) since i dont need phone line at all.they said it takes 2-4 weeks to install depends on the installation method we'll see. :)
