I have an old 7340 Fritzbox from the Snap days and think it may be time to upgrade it. Does anyone know what 2 Degrees are supplying now and at what cost thanks ? I guess its the 7490 ? And yes i have emailed to enquire direct but waiting on a reply.

Are you currently with 2degrees or just looking to buy it outright for use with another ISP? In my case when I switched from snap to 2 degrees VDSL plan, it was included free, though I did have to sign up for another 12 month contract. And yeah it was a 7490 at the time, not that long ago, and I think that's still their standard modem\router for VDSL or UFB.

Person I spoke with there recently offered to resign me and change me from the 7300 series to 7400 for free. However with new plans due soon from 2degrees according to their posts here seemed better to wait (current promo in my area with Compass 79.95 unlimited free modem and setup is cheaper for sure so they better hurry up).

I've been with snap/2degrees for a few years now and have been out of contract for at least 12 months. I contacted them a week or so ago after receiving a mailer from SPARK - offering 89 unlimited 100/20 plus $100 credit plus a free modem - and asked them what they could do to compete.

They said the best they could offer me would be $99 a month (which I'm already on, having a $10 friends and family discount that was applied when I asked about 12 months ago) and a further $10 discount if I had a monthly mobile plan with them (which I don't/won't).

I'll probably wait another month or so to see if they come out with anything better but if not, I'll be looking elsewhere for sure
