So I've read this thread (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=85&topicid=196672) where someone finangles some sort of deal with 2 degrees support. I tried talking to someone on their online chat and didn't get anywhere. We're looking to sign up for fibre, and would love to go for 2 degrees, except certain people demand a static ip, and the $10/month charge is kinda ridiculous. We will sign a 2 year contract, as well as signing up for a pay monthly cell phone account.

How do I summon the 2degreescare minion to do some negotiating?

First off calling someone a minion is degrading and good luck getting help after speaking like that. Why not give them a call and speak to someone in person.

You are right, minion was a horrible term to use. @2degreescare, please forgive me. Let me make it up to you by signing up for a contract, with slightly modified terms to bring your price for provisioning a static IP closer to the standard charged by your competition.

I am hearing impaired and can't easily negotiate over the phone, but thanks for the advice.
