Hi,
I'm new to the forum and have signed up as I have noticed how helpful the community is just from the odd Google search. I'm wondering if someone could lend a hand. We've got an ASUS RT-AC3200 Gigabit Router and are wanting to use it with our new Orcon Gigabit UF Fibre connection. We have been told by orcon that the orcon issued router is "coded" to the connection but I believe that's not entirely true. Does someone know the config settings for orcons gigabit fibre connection so I can use this router with their service or is this router actually unable to be used?

All help appreciated cheers!

Yeah that's BS I used a third party router with Orcon when I was with them.

I think from memory it's DHCP with Vlan tagging of 10 on the WAN.

Thanks for your reply man, I did note that somewhere in these forums and will definitely try once I get home cheers! I have spoken to UFF and orcon and both confirm connection is there. Don't have orcon issued router yet though. Was really just trying to make sure 1. Orcon haven't locked out use of 3rd party routers and 2. If anyone knew the definite settings to allow my 3rd party router to connect to orcons fibre config.

Id plug the Orcon one in first to ensure its working then try tackle changing it.

There is a way to get VoIP working with an ata as well which I think it's documented here somewhere.
