I just have to say something about the appalling billing issue from Orcon and flip NZ who is owned by Vocus Communications

I have manage three internet connection, My own, dad's and My brother.

So here goes...

  1. My dad's an Orcon ADSL plans with unlimited national calling setup back in 2015 - received an email on 3rd May 2017 saying they have upgraded our connection from ADSL to VDSL broadband at no additional cost to our monthly plan - on our June invoice I noticed we were charge for our national calling - We call and received a$15 Credit. And Next month we Charge another $150 for national calling and we call again and received another credit.

  1. My own Orcon connection - I signed up on a 12 months promotion deal - First 3 month free and $79 per month after that. My first bill is incorrect, I rang couple weeks ago and was advised it will be fixed within the next 48 hour. But it did not happen again. And I had to email them again

3 My brother cancelled his connection with flip; He is on 12 months contract that ended 20th of this month. I email flip to confirm that we will not be charge the $199, and we received an email we will not be charged and this month our credit card were charge $199

I am not sure if it's just me being unlucky with the billing by Orcon and flip NZ I am having or someone out there is have the some issues as me?

Or companies owned by Vocus Communications are trying their luck to overcharge their customers.

I have been a long term customers with them and sick of them now, am consider drop all their service.

Hi Jimmy,

I'm sorry to hear about the billing problems you've had - I can help with all of these accounts.

We're not in the business of deliberately overcharging people. Send me a PM with the account details and I'll tidy up any erroneous billing.

Cheers,

Cam
