Are there any special settings that need to be done for Fibre?

I have a Netgear R7800 with LEDE firmware, connected to the ONT.

I have done VLAN 10 tagging and pretty much left the rest of the settings default. Connections working fine, but not sure if settings are suboptimal.

Another user suggested overriding the LAN MTU to 1508 to fix IPv6 problems on 2Degrees, but the connection seems to work perfectly fine as is.

I'm about to try the same with my TP-Link Archer C2600 (with LEDE) and my Spark fibre connection.

Currently I have set:

Protocol: PPPoE
PAP/CHAP username: user@spark.co.nz
PAP/CHAP password: password
Access Concentrator: [BLANK/auto]
Service Name: [BLANK/auto]

which are just copied from my Spark provided router.

I've got VLAN set the same as you.

But there's a bunch of other settings (in the Spark router) that I can't see in the LEDE UI (probably need to dig around in the CL), like Service Type, MRU (set same as MTU?), MSS, NAT Type and 802.1p

I'm hoping that switching out the Spark router will solve some Skype for Business call quality issues.

For completeness:

Spark have a page for detailing the config: https://www.spark.co.nz/help/internet/set-up/broadband-settings-for-third-party-modems/

And I see 2Degrees have a similar page: https://help.2degreesmobile.co.nz/app/answers/detail/a_id/196/~/what-settings-should-i-use-for-byo-modem%3F
