I just looked at orcons new plans and was shocked i'm currently on the special deal for $80 mth with phone and 20 gig, i know its a special but a jump to $129 a month you have to be kidding and its more than you pay for the unbundled service with higher speeds.orcon have been bleating on for years that broadband is too slow and too expensive and its all telecoms fault so when unbundling starts to happen they crank the price up and looking at other providers i can get my current deal for between $90 to $95.I hope they come to there senses before my term runs out or i guess ill be changing which is a shame because im generally happy but theres no way im paying those kind of dollars.
Does anyone else have a problem with this or am i missing something.

They're hooking their Homeline service, free national calling, and all those extras into Gold+ and Platinum+, which makes them expensive for people who doesn't need such a service.

But Purple+ is plain Naked DSL, which is a little less than what some people need (some actually rely on a physical telephone service!)

Yeah i see what you mean and then i was getting this: Note a $10 discount applies if you have your direct dial toll calling with Orcon.... which i dont seem to be getting anymore (Would have been nice to be told this) as for phone and internet through them i dont think so atleast not till they drop the price and give more of a choice as to what services you want on your phone like telecom does. I only want caller ID and a pin toll bar and i dont want call waiting or digital answering service or any of that crap if i go their way i'd end up speending more a month than i can afford just one more thing WHERE'S MY 10$ DISCOUNT ORCON ?????

The only one with a $10 for Orcon tolls is "Purple (with calling)"

I was surprised when Orcon released their new plans that they didn't provide Homeline extras as an extra. I don't need call waiting and voicemail (my fax machine does that)

Well, you can look around
