This moring I was getting this error:  I was Slingshot proxy failing again.

Access Denied (license_expired)

A license has expired on the Proxy, and your request is not permitted: "The SGOS license has expired"
A new license must be obtained.

For assistance, contact your network support team.

It seems to have been sorted now.

Funny how the company who makes the proxy calls it a proxy, yet they call it a cache at Slingshot Undecided

Is anyone else seriously concerned with the abilities of those things?

Logging of just about anything, content filtering, SSL termination, user / session tracking...

More annoying is the delivery of stale content that they give, particually when its to something thats not a browser so you cant control-F5 it to get it to reload it.

There would be cert issues with them doing anything with SSL, and thats impersonating another system so would make an interesting case if anyone were to try it on in anycase.
