A few days ago, accessing some websites was a bit slow, and I thought it was a problem with the other party ’s website. However, I found a strange path after the tracer today.

default-rdns.vocus.co.nz is the default rdns for basically all of vocus's addreses... it's not unique to your connection..

I tried to contact slingshot's customer service and they suggested that my IP entered the blacklist because of this issue. Therefore, some websites cannot be accessed. . .

Let's take a step back...as clearly there is a bit of confusion here.

what actually is your issue?

OK,

In recent days, I used a PC to access the smzdm.com website, but I couldn't open it. I thought there was a problem with the site.

Today I used my mobile data to access and the website is accessible. Then I contacted slinshot's customer service to feedback the above questions, and then contacted me to send a tracert screenshot, the customer service said that my IP entered the blacklist because it passed vocus's rDNS service.

Right,

i think you might find what they were meaning is..

"We suspect your ip might be blacklisted by the website/server as your traceroute shows your service going past our first hop"

that doesn't inherently mean it has anything todo with the rdns.

you may find something your running has flagged a lockout on the website?

No, no, it's not just a website. I listed five websites, one of which is a cloud storage website. . It's impossible to blacklist everything. . .

I'm with slingshot, https://www.smzdm.com/ loads for me.

However it does have a mix of secure and insecure content, and quite a few javascript errors going on.

You should post the complete traceroute output including the first line showing the target DNS to IP resolution and all hops to completion (hop limit) even if they are all timed out.

If the remaining hops show timed out for the first traceroute in your original post, it is possible there is a routing problem on the return path.

The second traceroute is to www.orcon.net.nz are you having trouble visiting that website?

Then that's the issue you wanna look into, which is probably more connectivity (EG dsl disconnecting...)

Based on those traces i see nothing wrong in the vocus network. certainly looks like your getting to the edge before dropping.

In both traces your leaving the Vocus network, What is your public IP? Might be you are on a list that multiple sites are using

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

All comment's I make are my own personal opinion and do not in any way, shape or form reflect the views of current or former employers unless specifically stated

I get quite severe packet loss to pan.baidu.com (111.206.37.70). Starts from the chinaunicom-ic-324374-las-b24.c.telia.net handover hop.

Perhaps there is atypical network traffic levels due to the Coronavirus situation.

I can visit the Orcon web site fine.

I'm not on Slingshot or Orcon though.
