Hiya.  I got an email from SS last week offering for $5 an upgrade to full speed DL.  I have clicked on it and said yes, however would like some more info.  Does anyone know anything? Is it linked to Tcom's new all you can eat plan?

And how much different speed wise is it? Having had limited BB for sometime it is painful to watch.

I sent SS an email last week but haven't had a reply...

There is this thread in the Slingshot forums. It sounds like a good deal to me and I think is part of the plan to have unlimited data on the 256/128 bit per sec plans.

No contract extensions.

Speed, is great, Websurfing and YouTube, general downloading speeds are good but you might find some speed limits.  these are at worst 100% faster that the 256 plan.  That's for the likes of Rapaidshare.

I've gone from a FS/128 plan, to a 256 plan to take advantage of the $5 a month saving it will give me.
