My daughters 2D sim FINALLY turned up today - she was pretty excited about gettin 5 bucks of free credit and paying only 9c per txt after her txt 2000 runs out (which seems to happen after only a week or so of it being renewed!0

She was pretty disappointed when her W910i presented a message ordering her to 'Insert Correct SIM Card'.

Ok Vodafone, I could understand you locking a phone on your network if it was subsidised, but this one wasn't (I bought it from Ingram Micro).  WTF?

Not sure if ringing Voda customer support would help - have tried for the last hour or so and it rings once and then disconnects the call.

Please 2D - hurry the f***k up with post-bill (and Blackberry services) so some of us can give VF the boot for once and for all.

Don't suppose anyone knows of a working NCK code generator for the W910i?

Thanks Vodafone for setting new levels of SUCK.

joker97: tried the sim in another phone?

Hi, yep - works fine in other phones.  Phone is definitely locked onto the VF network.

Cheers,
D.

WubbleU: Does this page help?
http://www.vodafone.co.nz/help/unlocking-your-mobile.jsp

Nice one, thanks - didn't find this on Voda's web site.  Will be interesting to see how difficult it is to get a (working) unlock code from Brightpoint.

Thanks again,
D.
