Hi,

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue - so i thought id ask.

My wife is on 2degrees and over the weekend sent me several SMS/MMS while shopping for kids clothes.

I never got them ... in fact i have re-tested today with both phones in front of me and it still dont work.

i can txt from my Telecom XT phone to her , she receives it fine.
She replies - i never receive it.

She can txt vodaone network without any issues.

Has she recently ported to 2degrees or does she have an 022 number?

Give the team a call on 0800 022 022 and they'll get to the bottom of this for you.

Cheers!

yes she had ported from vodafone - she still has her 021 number.

she has txted me in the past (post porting) and ive received them.  Just nothign for the last week for so.

i can txt her fine - she receives 30 secs later.
when she replies - it just never turns up at my end.

most puzzling - just seems to disappear into the ether.

similar issues here

I have an XT phone - wife a 2D phone.

sending sms messages delivered in either direction almost immediately.

MMS from 2D to Telecom delivered in a minute or so.

MMS Telecom XT to 2D sent last night 9:00PM - sent four messages with pics attached. Only one message delivered today so far at 1:05PM

What's with the delay?
Telecom or 2D end?

Hi,

talked to 2degrees and Telecom.

Telecom thought it was an issue with the routing tables at the vodafone end (due to the number being ported from vodafone).

Wife rang 2degrees this morning and they have been investigating... since that phone call i had a flood of 18 txt messages turn up from her - so i guess they found the issue.

The issue is at the Telecom end and they are working on it. We expect it to be resolved shortly.

Cheers!

I still can't MMS my wife who is on a Telecom network (recently ported from Vodafone) and also my mother also on a telecom network (ported from Vodafone many many months ago!)

I can receive SMS fine from these numbers. I can also send MMS to 021 #'s on the Vodafone network and also 027 #'s on the Telecom network. Is there anything that I can Telecom they need to do as my wife has logged a fault with them but so far has not heard anything!!

Very annoying!

Fault has already been logged with them but was as others have obviously had similar issues, there might be something I alert them to that would speed things up (or actually resolve this!)

Not that I want to speak out of turn or anything, but a bit of support for my counterparts over the fence -- they are working hard on it. The amount of porting activity in the last 6 weeks or so has caught the whole industry on the back foot.
