As long as you're in the mobile broadband zone, then 2degrees' plans are pretty good value.

I've been out and about with the stick and get around 500kbps to 2mbps depending on where I am. 2degrees say you'll get an average of around 800-1400kbps.

It's good for people like me who move in and out with my laptop every day.

Worth considering XT also - if you account for bonus credit on prepaid it works out cheaper than vodafone's prepaid mobile broadband.
I average 2-3mbps whenever ive done a speedtest. Page load times are snappy.

Im using 2degrees on both USB modem and iPhone 4, both inside and outside "the zones", and other than wishing there was a slightly larger national data pack all is good.

Great thank you for your feedback. My girlfriend is also looking at getting one too. Plans are looking good especially the 2gb one.

I bought the vodafone 3g stick a while ago and never bothered to use it again, it's just a bit expensive:( thanks for the heads up, gonna check out 2degree's price now.
