Hi All,

I'm helping a cousin of mine get an internet connection going. She'll be staying in Linden, north of Tawa until the end of December and so having researched the options, it seems that getting a USB 3G stick and a 2Degrees data pack may be the best option.

What I would like to know is how is the internet in that area using 2Degrees? I live in Chch and have no way to check that it will be all good before she goes and purchases the USB stick and data packs. The most intensive thing she wants to do is to talk on Skype using voice (but not video).

Cheers for any user experiences!

Patrick.

I live in Tawa also, and I have used a 2degrees sim in my Vodem pro stick and get great speeds.

Does she not have access to a wifi network where she is staying?

?

There use to be one but it was discontinued and there seems to be little point reinstating one for a couple of months just to pay a disconnection fee again after.

Have a look here for 2D sites in Linden.
