Hi guys- not sure if this is the right place to be posting this, but I'm an orcon customer so here goes.

I'm running the latest version of firefox, but for the last 3 days or so, it has not been loading pages properlly, and they come out in text outline only- see pic:

Our wireless router has been doing weird things recently and not sending a internet signal to my laptop sometimes (I have to go upstairs and reset it and it fixes itself immediatly), not sure if other wireless things in the house are interferring or not. Don't know if that is related or not.

Internet Explorer and Google Chrome still work fine, as with Safari on my iPhone, although Firefox was my favourite and I'd be keen to here any tips or fixes someone out there may know.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like the CSS isn't being loaded.

Tried reloading the page via CTRL F5?
Tried empyting your browsers cache?
Tried disabling adblock plus on the site?

Cheers- disabling AdBlock Plus makes everything work as per normal again.

I've never had trouble with ABP before through- is there a way I can fix it so that it works and carries on blocking the ads?

Thanks again! :)

You can check which rules are applied to that particular page with "Open blockable items" and decide if you want to whitelist them for that page.

Good that this discussion came back to the surface.

Is it working again now? Were you running any antispyware/antivirus software with URL filtering, or any parental control software?

I'm asking because last weekend we found out the software was creating a CSS filename containing the string "xxx" before pushing it out to the CDN.

A couple of users accessing Geekzone from within corporate networks found they couldn't get the CSS, because the file was being blocked because of that string.

I've changed the file a byte, just enough to make the software create a new version with a new file name, and push it out...

I have seen this happen from time to time with over aggressive security software.

It's worst when it's actually part of the companies domain name the software is blocking on, hard to change that!

Not very familiar with this, but heres a screen capture of what shows up:

I know I have the EasyList filter set, its all I've ever used and has done me great until now.

I also tried going back to an older version on http://adblockplus.org/en/development-builds but still have the same trouble.

freitasm, I am running avast! Antivirus- have never had any trouble with it. I also have Spybot-SD running too.

Thanks for the help so far guys! :)
