Hi

I was wondering if anyone has a AZbox? Basically I'm wanting to watch the world feed of the V8 Supercars off Optus D2. The box I have now will see the channel but it must be 4.2.2 si its scrambled.

Is the AZbox a simple plug-n-play setup? Do I need a card for it to work?

Basically any box with an irdeto card reader can decrypt  channel 7, you also need an active card

The above poster is talking about the channel 7 signal on D3/C1 which is encrypted and you do need a
card for that.

From what I know, the azbox is great wee box.
Yes it is a simple plug n play box ( you plug it in & scan for channels and start watching)

No you don't need a card for 4.2.2 feeds.

From what I understand 4.2.2 is a type of compression that not many satellite box's can decode.

I know what you mean about the last couple of rounds being 4.2.2 (I had the same problem)
Had to watch TV3 & stay away from the news etc so i didn't hear the results.
