Hi there - my freeview recorder has started to turn itself off then immediately reboot itself. This is happening every minute to minute and half. I have checked the obvious - power point and various leads connecting to the TV. There is no help with the manual that came with it, and I am stumped, not being much of a technical head.

I have a T1020 and have not experience the problem you mentioned. However, you can try to turn off the unit by pressing (press and hold) the power button for more than 4 seconds. Then the unit should turn off if a short moment (my T1020 will show a red light and the time when it is off).

Then power it up again and see what happens.

By the way, how old is your T1050 unit? If it is still in warranty, talk to DishTV and get it fixed.

Try the reset as mentioned above. If that doesn't work I would say it's developed a fault and it needs to go back to Dish for repairs.




Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
