I have not long built up a media center computer running Windows Media Center Edition 2005
Now i have just installed a Wintv Nova S plus satellite card. I also have sky TV
I can get all freeview channels using the Wintv software in windows but when i go to setup TV in media center it says no tuner is connected. I know this seems to be covered on here but I have tried for 2 weeks with different drivers and patches but no matter what I do it just says no tuner connected.

Basically I love an idiots guide to getting my system working including freeveiw channels thru card sky tv thru card input and setting up remote blaster.
I read people modify the reg to tune satellite but have know idea where or how this is done

Thanks for any assistance

I have a mate running a wicked setup using linux and mythtv but i'd like to keep MCE 2005
