hi there people,
I have recently constructed a media centre pc and am attempting to get freeview running through it. I seem to have struck difficulty.
the WINTV 6 scans and locates all the channels available in NZ re freeview once and aslo radio.

When I open wintv and try to see the channels there are no images, i do though get sound on the radio channels.

Is there any one that can help me with this?

Please ....:)

WinTV will not work with our flavour of (terrestrial) Freeview.

You will need to use another bit of software like GB-PVR, Media Portal, or DVB-Viewer

DVB-Viewer is good, but costs money.  I personally don't like Media Portal, but a lot on here do.  GB-PVR seems to be a pretty good product, and will work for Freeview|HD

There are loads of threads on here explaining the ins and outs of what to do.

As others have said WinTV doesn't work in New Zealand. Your card should have also come with a Power Cinema CD that will work if you have the latest updates which are available on the Hauppauge site.
